: Beyond the crisp minimalism of the arabics and minimalist dial
: design, the real treat for me here is how the typography for
: "KANO" is integrated into the line art of the logo
: graphic. If you study Gropius' (and other) furniture, you can
: see how simple lines are used to evoke much grander structures.
: In this instance, the letters in "KANO" seemed to be
: enveloped in a hangar or warehouse building. Some of the more
: utilitarian Bauhaus designs--barracks, industrial buildings,
: dormitories, were extremely beautiful. The logo detail here
: really captures that.
