I hear you Andy... and I remember an email conversation we had many moons ago about how you used to wear it doing all sorts.. and after the big Bonhams auction you were more protective of it. I think this is the weak point in Heuers.. getting hold of parts etc is so damned hard, and expensive.
Over the past year or so, I've realised that the Heuers that I enjoy wearing the most, are the ones with some knocks on them already. It's not that I don't care about them, but it feels so much more relaxed wearing something that you know has a few war wounds.
I think this is why vintage Subs are popular, and Speedies - because you can get parts for them easily, and relatively cheaply.

Anyway.. forget about that.. how's that old Fiat Spider coming along? Tell you what - sell the black monaco, and you'll be alright for a budget :0)
