Etiquette suggests that the father of the bride (or groom) should have one hell of a fantastic watch for a child's wedding!!
It's Tuesday afternoon. The flowers are in a dumpster or landfill; the alcohol has just about been flushed; the food is long gone; the bridal gown is being cleaned and stored, but unlikely to be worn many more times, if at all . . . but the new "Emma and Nate" watch is still on my wrist and bringing me a smile every time I look at it. I wore the "Rachel and Ari" watch for about 10 days after their September 1 wedding . . . I doubt that I will give this one any shorter stay on my wrist!!

: ...that your "appropriate complementary" watch is of less
: value than the groom's? I suspect not!
: Congratulations to all involved!
