I missed out on a Bulova labeled 1563 Autavia Cal 15 with white hands and military-like luminous stick hour markers on ebay in March of 2008. It would have been my first "Heuer". In fact, that near miss at less than $1000 made me study OnTheDash feverishly over a few days (for more familiarity with Heuer watches and what to look for) resulting in my purchase several days later of a 2446C GMT at a then bargain price of $1658. That became my first Heuer! I kept a printed out picture of the Bulova 1563-type Autavia from the earlier, missed auction which I look at from time to time and kick myself over, lol. So, we can add Bulova to the "poor man's list", too!
