Hi guys,
In preparation to my visit to NYC the end of next week, I made a list of vintage watch sellers to visit. I already know some by having visited them before, but you never know, whether new ones have entered the market. During my search I visited the shop of Aaron Faber. One of the reputable shops. To my big surprise I saw this total "new model" vintage Autavia:

I tried to count the things that are wrong, but there are just too much.
How is it possible that such a reputable shop puts this one on sale. Do they know nothing about Heuer? Do they never read Onthedash or Hodinkee?
I was there 6 years ago and the person I talked to then, did raise the impression to be well aware of Heuer.
I am determined to visit them next week and have a look at this extraordinary beauty. I will use all my diplomacy to make them awake that there may me some inconsistencies with this watch...
Who can make a comprehensive list for me to take with me there? ...lol
Happy new year
Ron
