Mechanical watches are like vinyl

Although I am a bit of a gadget man, I can't see myself getting am internet watch. They are just not there yet, but they will get there eventually.

Vinyl took a huge knock when CDs came out.
Mechanical watches took a huge knock when quartz came out.

CDs suffered when mp3s were fully established.
Quartz will suffer when the internet watches are fully established.

But vinyl has always been there and is in fact seeing a but of a resurgence.
