Re: Long live vinyl

My thoughts exactly Roger!

Having not had a vinyl release since 2003, my last 2 albums have been released on vinyl (2012 and 2013) and in some cases outselling cd sales. Plus it seems there is a whole new audiophile audience for albums recorded analog utilising vintage technology, to be played in all their glory on a turntable.

I am glad I have kept my vinyl collection which started (with an album by "Weather Report") 27 years ago.

I feel Kindle/e-books and the like are the same - I cherish my 'real' books and have a collection of vintage Penguin paperbacks which I will never part with - same as our favourite watches I guess.
