A general question for the experts, how often would you recommend having this movement serviced? I know with new watches most manufactures recommend every 5 years or so, but I am not sure with a movement that is 35+ years old.
This particular movement was NEVER serviced from 1979 until 2004 when the movement stopped winding. In 2009 I had it overhauled by Heuer, and now that I have had it for 5 years I am wondering if I should send it back in to keep it healthy.
Thank you all in advance for your input!
