I like that it's a true Targa once again, as the 993, 996 and 997 Targa models were better described as the 911 Big Sunroof. I think the engineering is pretty interesting on the top mechanism, and it seems like a pretty unique setup.

Design-wise it's certainly a somewhat ungainly mish-mash of modern and retro in lighter colors like the blue in that photo, but on darker colors like black it works out all right.

Overall, as far as I'm concerned about the 991, I can sum it up by saying "I'll have a rear-wheel drive 993 coupe, thanks very much!"
