I talked with Mr. Rössler about this watch in Munich. Mine is the only example he did ever see. The similarities to the ref. A 3817 are obvious. Mr. Rössler thinks that the surfaces and edges of the case should be executed like on the case of this steel version. Though, I would be glad to find a second example for comparison.
