I drove through another snow/ice storm to a National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors' Regional event in Lexington, Kentucky, USA yesterday. I delivered my talk on collecting watches and attended the Mart where I sold a bunch of watches and didn't succeed in buying much. The only Heuer I was tempted by was a Cal 11 1163 Red (pre V) Autavia in decent cosmetic condition but with a rusty movement. In the end I decided not to buy it and get involved in another project.
The only wrist watch I bought was the below, near new Ollech & Wajs Panda with a beautiful Landeron 51 movement. It is a tiny bit bigger than a Camero and much cheaper to buy. I think it is going to get some wrist time.
