Bezel's

I have been in discussion with a manufacturer regarding making replica bezels. I have researched this for some time, originally inspired by my need for a GMT bezel. As we all know a good bezel is hard to finned and often exorbitant these days.I'm curious what the general feeling amongst the community would be to a replica. Now my intention is that they will be an exact copy in every detail. The project requires tooling witch is not cheap, yet based on figures at this point they would be a lot cheaper than the NOS ones we have seen offered on ebay ect. Will the purist baulk ? Would you be happy with a replica ? As I would need to commit a chunk of money to produce a limited batch, I am very interested in every ones opinion. Please feel free to shoot me down or encourage. I look forward to your consensus.
