I think this watch is not even close to a $4,000 watch. I bought one for $600.00 last year. Mine was different in that it had a heavily gold filled top. Mine was in very nice original shape and had also just been serviced. I put it on eBay and it brought $800 if I remember correctly. The gentleman who bought it put it on eBay the week after receiving it for $1,600 BIN. He kept it listed for months. As far as I know he still has it. Yours does not have the original date hand which is very difficult to find. If I owned this watch I wold be glad to sell it for $1,000 or less. You can buy a triple date chrono in 18k gold for not much more than $4,000.00 why would this watch be worth close to that much.
