I always thought of it as a pure Frua, therefore Italian, design but just read up on the Wiki page that it was the work of a Swede, son of an engineer heading up the P1800 project.
I take your point about the external aesthetics but there is beauty under the skin of some cars too - ever seen a Colombo V12 in an early Ferrari? You could put the prettiest dial ever on a pallet pin movement, but underneath you'd know it was a bit ugly. So, for me the most beautiful cars are pretty inside and out.
P1800 top 10? I'd have to think about that, but the prettiest out of Sweden? For sure! Not colour sensitive either, looks great in white, red or blue.
And yet, every time I think I agree with you about it being top 10, there is a little nagging voice. And it says things like "Ah yes, but what about the ES"?
So the answer for me to the "top 10" question is a resounding...... maybe :)
