Patina? Is it that the paint has faded a bit Rich?

As paint failures go, these early Monacos are possibly my favourites. Maybe tied with a blue Daytona or Silverstone when it goes all lapis lazuli. I slightly lament the fact there are no regular so spectacular failures of Carrera paint; Paul's rosy pink silver dial is the best I've seen and that appears to be something of a one-off.
