Our Best Expert: This Vetta Not Made by Heuer

Our best expert here in the US suggests that Heuer did not make this chronograph for Vetta.

So it is a less desirable "Look-Alike", rather than the more desirable "Poor Man's" Daytona.

: Hi Jeff,
: the resemblance is true... But the Vetta is poor refinished, the
: bracelet is light, a general sensation of cheapness.

: The old watchmaker (he is one of the most old and expert here) kept
: me in his shop after the enclosure time to tell me fascinating
: stories about his many years of activity and life, he had a
: close partnership with Breitling and Lemania many years ago, how
: much culture and know-how in these old watchmakers, and what a
: fascinating job...
: Best.
