So I guess my follow-up question would be: Did I have a contract, in legal terms? I didn't use buy-it-now or even buy the watch through eBay? The seller and I came to a verbal agreement, on the phone, and then I paid him. He did send a confirmation e-mail after we spoke that said:

Heuer SS watch $3290.00

...and another in which he told me he was ending the eBay auction. Is that enough?
