Hey guys, I've wanted one of these for a long time...hard to find in decent condition. I took a chance on an eBay auction with poor pics and a scary description that made it sound like a "project" watch. Here's what the mailgirl brought:

And here's the sellers description:
"...I am the original owner and purchased this watch new in the early 19709s
from an ad in a car magazine (probably Road & Track). Shows heavy wear with
some dents and nicks to the case. Some scratches on the crystal, which has
already been heavily polished showing some waviness. Bezel has wear but
still shows blue and red well for AM and PM GMT reading. Runs and the stop
watch functions, EXCEPT the sweep second hand does not return to 12 o9clock
position when reset but rather to the 2 second position as shown in the
picture. However, I did wind it up a little and it appeared to still keep
excellent time. The case has never been opened and it has been sitting in my
jewelry box for 25 years..."

I'm quite pleased. This helps ease the pain of that one I missed the other day...
