70s Carrera - is it original?

My first post on Chronocentric after lurking for a while! I've read lots of interesting info from very knowledgeable people on here, so hoping you can help with my query.

I've been looking at a 70s Carrera which I can't find a match for on OTD. Picture here:

What is throwing me is the matching tachy ring - I can't find anything apart from a gold case model which has a silver tachy ring and silver dial. The seller is a professional and bought it in that condition, but doesnt specify that it is all original. Is this just a less common combination or is it likely to have been put together from parts?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers
Steve
