Off topic - that vintage Rolex I posted a while back

I took your advice and contacted the Vintage Rolex forum asking to verify if the watch was a ref.6239 as my investigation had me thinking it was. I got SWAMPED with emails with offers to buy it. And not for small amounts! My friend is quite surprised that his watch has gained so much value. They came to dinner on Sunday night and I got a better picture (I can't seem to get the camera to auto-focus on the center of the frame, but it's better than the iphone pic). He hasn't decided if he'll sell it or get the second hand replaced. Just thought some of you would like seeing this Paul Newman Daytona from 1970 (may have been built in 1969 - I didn't check the serial number, but he was gifted the watch in 1970).
