but then I got to the fourth sentence, which reads as follows: "However, one significant brand has been notably absent from the list of those experiencing significant increases in the past decade: Legendary sports chronograph manufacturer Heuer (now TAG Heuer)."

. . . perhaps a case of a dealer trying to position himself to make an insider's recommendation so that customers (or prospective customers) can get in on the ground floor, or maybe some sloppy wording, but hard to imagine a statement that could be further from the truth.
