Removing Links from GF beads of rice bracelet

Hi all

Only my second posting here, but hoping someone can help! I have a Gay Freres beads of rice bracelet for my Carrera which is way too long for me. There are no visible pins to allow links to be removed - do I just have to pry open the individual beads in order to shorten it? I've tried a couple of local watchmakers but no-one wanted to touch it, so I'll either need to send it somewhere or have a go myself. It's the original bracelet so I don't want to damage it - any advice much appreciated.

Cheers
Steve
