Yesterday I picked up "in the wild" a 1960s A&F 14K gold chronograph. I know that Heuer made some chronographs for Aberchrombie & Fitch however I do not know if Heuer had anything to do with this one.
The case reference is 3912 and I believe it is quite RARE because my Internet search brought up only
this Christies auction:
http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/LotDetailsPrintable.aspx?intObjectID=4841684
It does not even specify the case metal... Also it mentions a 12 hour register which my watch does not have.
From my research I believe the movement is Val. 22. The dial seems to be redone.
I will take some pics. shortly and post here.
Would appreciate factual replies from the mavins here :)
