Do you remember not long ago you showed us a Zodiac which appeared to show the letters Heuer under the dial, it was faint but clearly visible...That's just the proof you need that says Heuer did make these watches...
Here lookie... http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=60961

: Heuer did not make movements, cases, dials and hands . . . Heuer
: purchased these components from other companies.
: Heuer did manufacture each of the chronographs shown below, from
: Zodiac, Clebar, Dugena and Primato. There were many other
: "brands" that purchased watches and chronographs from
: Heuer. Of course, there were many Zodiac, Clebar, Dugena and
: Primato watches that were not made by Heuer. That's where the
: "valued-added" / expertise comes into play -- knowing
: who made what.
: For what it's worth, I am not interested in proving that you are
: wrong; I am interested in sharing information about vintage
: Heuer watches (and other watches made by Heuer). So feel free to
: continue with your questions.
