Re: Zodiac
In Response To: Zodiac *PIC* ()

: Here is my Zodiac that I believe has the same case as the later
: Carrera, Its chrome plated though unlike the Heuer in stainless.
: I have not seen any other Zodiac, Tradition or other poor mans
: with this style case. So certainly a cheaper model due to
: materials used. As to who assembled it, I can not say, only that
: they went to a lot of trouble to emulate the Carrera.
Yes Jeff I
: agree the community has handled this members assault very well.
: I my self was some what shocked at the original posting
and
: really wondered what was his purpose. I'm still puzzled !
: Perhaps he could explain his some what aggressive attitude.

Thanks for your input Kendall.
As you said "As to who assembled it, I can not say, only that they went to a lot of trouble to emulate the Carrera."
Why wouldn't they look similar if all the companies outsourced parts?
If you really want to know who assembled it, you might send it to Tedward515. He has a very unique talent and can tell that a watch was assembled in the same factory from the same parts bins, by the same people.

Sorry you were shocked at the original posting. In case you didn't read it or forgot. Here it is again:

Not sure who wrote it, but I would like to know what physical or written proof do you have, other than comparing watches that look similar, that Heuer made chronographs for any other Swiss watchmakers?

What about my original post shocked you and made you think this is an assault? I'm just looking for the truth, whatever it is. And to get to the truth, I feel like you need proof.
