I just spent a frustrating hour trying to get my 7763 bezel back on after cleaning, it would not go on like most Heuer bezels. Finally I had a look here and found Lanny's post on this exact procedure, thank you ! Done in minutes. All I need now is a new dial.
Sorry about the poor photo, I have not worked out how to take quality pic's yet.
