Hello All - I am new to the forum, but a vintage Heuer fan. Wanted to show-off my restored 1940's Heuer Chronograph Ref. 406. Bought this as a project, dial had been very poorly re-done with incorrect hands but the "bones" were all good. This watch deserved to be saved. Sent off to Rick Awiza from RA Time. I think the result is great. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to re-do the original dial, which now looks as it should. Rick did a great job with the hands, and after a complete dissemble and cleaning of the Valjoux 23 movement, a light polish of the case & crystal I am thrilled with the result. Added a distressed WWII leather band with contrast stitching and an original Heuer 16mm buckle to finish off.

Have been asked for Rick's contact info so here it is: Rick Awiza - RA Time, ratime@verizon.net, www.ratime.com
Thanks and enjoy!
