I thought that I would attach a few pics of this beautiful Ca. 1950's (best guess) Leonidas Mono-Pusher that is going through a complete overhaul, repair & service. Richard Awiza - RA Time (ratime@verizon.net, www.ratime.com) is the watchmaker performing the work for me. He comes highly recommended if you are in need of vintage service, repair restoration. The first picture is a before of the watch itself. Then a few of the dissembled movement just after cleaning. Note the very impressive repair of the stem tube (which was discovered to be broken upon dissemble). It was repaired with a laser welder. Appearently, like welding a human hair! A before and after shot of the new main-spring and of course a beautiful shot of the Valjoux 22 movement back together and running like a top. I will post additional pictures of the finished product as I receive them. I think this one is going to be a beauty!!
