A few weeks ago, I heard of one of these (second execution / later version Carrera 2447N) going for $7,000, without the bracelet, in a private sale. Condition was probably similar.
So considering that this one has the bracelet, it has a good chance of moving well above its current $5,000 level.
All this sort of makes me wonder whether the 1960s Carreras are moving above their historic prices, to achieve new levels. We still seem to see a fair number of the more common ones -- for example, Reference 2447S -- in the 3,000 to $4,000 range, but perhaps the more rare ones (black-on-black and contrasting registers) are breaking out? What are others seeing?
