2446 3rd Execution dial with early serial number case

Hi,

Wondering if the experts could help me reconcile something...I purchased a 2446H screwback case 3rd execution dial according to Jeff's master reference. What's odd is that the case number is 855xx which is listed as normally found with the 2nd execution dial. I know this is not set in stone, but has anyone seen examples like this before? Regards,

-Tom
