Thanks for the welcome, I was feeling somewhat dejected at first! But Giuliano contacted me in a PM and all is good in the world. I recently bought a 1963/64ish Carrera 45 to replace the one I had in the late 1980's (bought secondhand). Every couple of months I scanned the adds and auctions and realised quickly that I needed to buy one while I still could afford it! Anyway I picked up a nice original white dialled 3647S that looks good and hopefully will only need a crystal, service and a Giuliano strap to make me happy.
