Here's my perspective, the buyer probably paid for the dial. Everything else, hands, bezel, case and movement not original to this dial variant. On the bright side if the buyer has one in pretty bad shape like the dial gone awry bad, swap it with the original parts and presto a spanking looking new first series Siffert back in its former glory...

On the other hand if you're on a budget and did not care about its originality this would be an extremely great buy.

Just some observation...

: I don't know how this one slipped by for under $2000
: The case might not be original to the dial as its listed as a 1163V
: but for price its still one hell of a deal.
