A very good point, Blackie - or may I say David?

Our beloved Heuers (and other watches too, for some of us) sure are a wonderful hobby.
But dogs, like other family members, are part of our lives.
I am certain to have done the same in your situation - as, I suppose, many others among us too.
Thinking about how to have raised funds in other ways .... will not help, and is like Jeff's hindsight ...
I know the feeling too well - have often thought the same ... regretting and thinking ... thinking too much, too often ...
But as John (Cote) said, so right: No no ... He doesn't let himself feel the pain ....

Your point about using the money elsewhere - as for treatment of family or pets - was much appreciated here.
