I am against killing sharks. Fishing for them and eating them is different, but not just eating the fins. If you want to catch a shark, okay, but if you don't plan to use all the meat, release it unharmed.

BTW, I am a kayak fisherman and may take a trip into some shark waters this summer. I won't target them, but they often swim in the same waters as the gamefish I will pursue.
