George is probably correct. The Siffert model had a deeper case. It's not far fetched to believe someone changed the dial/hands to make it look like a 'Siffert'.
But - anything is possible. You could claim 'service case', but that would be pure guesswork/speculation.
Bottom line is: it has the incorrect case for dial & hands or vice-versa. How it got like that is anyones guess.
