Jack Brabham is a towering figure at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In 1961 he placed 9th which might not seem like a huge deal...until you look at this on track photo from '61.

I didn't know Sir Jack at all but I know his grandson Matthew a bit. He is a really great kid and a superb driver. He moved up to Indy Lights this year after winning an amazing 13 out of 16 races in the Road to Indy Pro Mazda series last year. I know Sir Jack was proud.
