I haven't looked or googled yet....which would've been the easy way, I admit...
I just guess they were from the German-speaking part of Switzerland (as the German name Wittnauer may already suggest...without needing a college degree or being a professor of orologi here....)
No big deal, as they say in the U.S., but nevertheless in interesting little difference, I thought.
