I have become more hopeful today. I went to my watchmaker to have him open the watch so that I could take a picture of the movement. Comparing my picture with the guide here on OnTheDash and despite me being an amateur, I dare to say that it is a Valjoux 230. The only difference that I can see is that mine is market "Heuer Leonidas".
