1163 Bracelets
In Response To: HLD vs HLF?? *PIC* ()

What i know is:

Autavia 1163 with 141000 to 144500 cases all fit the HLD end pieces. Early watches shown on catalogues have the smaller HLD.
Autavia 1163 with cases serials from 2xxxxx fit the HLF ends (there still were few batches of thin cases also after 2xxxxx)
The 1163V case from 270000 (Schmitz) is very very close to the early 143xxx 144xxx style and also should fit the HLD (and often we find HLD also on late viceroys, with Gay Freres bracelet or cheaper type too)
The HLF were made to well fit all 1163 cases.

About date codes this is what i have seen:

1-69 : HLD with no fliplock clasp
2-69 : HLD with no fliplock clasp
3-69 : HLD with no fliplock clasp or fliplock clasp
4-69 and later : HLF with fliplock clasp
