Re: It's in good hands
In Response To: It's in good hands ()

Hi Mike,

To be honest with you, the hour markers look so clean and "new" that it seems like they never had lume dots on them before. Is that possible? The serial on mine is a 1419xx, not sure how many were produced, and what number it start on, but it is an early version for sure. Wouldn't I see some type of wear on these hour markers, indicating their existence? I see lume dots on the 3, 6 and 9, but that is it. And those look to be fresh. The story the guy gave on the show was that it belonged to his dad, and it had been sitting in a drawer for over 25 years. Plus, I am still trying to learn more about the decimal minutes bezel. From what I have seen online, I have not seen one with this type of bezel. Not sure where else to look to understand more about this. I understand the use of having it with the decimal minute, but was this added on after the fact or, is it original?
