Almost missed a flight to buy this one...

I was driving to the airport after meeting with a client in Omaha yesterday. I had a 13:15 flight and it was 11:20. I saw a little coin and gold buying shop which had the word watches on the window and thought I would give it a try. When I walked in the young gent behind the counter took a look at the 11630 GMT I was wearing and said..."we have one of those...but ours is a little different." He said, "the pushers and the winding thing are all on the same side on ours." I said, "well let me see it." He said, "it is at our other store which is about 15 minutes West of here." Unfortunately the airport was in the other direction. I asked him a couple of questions and made a couple of time calculations and got back in my rental car to head West. The drive was actually 20 minutes...both ways. When I got to the other location the watch was way better than he described. I spent 7 minutes haggling and made a deal. I got to rental car return at the airport with 25 minutes to go and was the second to the last person to get on the airplane. It probably would have been worth it to miss the flight. I have never seen another one of these in the wild. The sunburst is almost unblemished and aside from what looks like a very light polish the edges are factory sharp. Sorry about the lousy iPhone picture. I will put up some better pix next time I set up the lights.
