Great story, great watch !

Congratulations John, one of the coolest GMT to my eyes.
I love the double wrist shot !
I look forward to enjoying your upcoming pictures, don't miss the thin outer bezel silver line, one of the outstanding detail to enjoy with this one.

Another great thing with these is the Valjoux "high beat" movement, how many chronographs do we know with this one ? Such a caliber sounds like real oddity to me
seems these are from the mid 70s looking at this specs sheet

I've been told they were made for German/Austrian/Swiss markets where demand for manual wind chronographs was still fairly important at the time, never been able to double check this
In any case, seems these 774X Valjoux movements have a great provenance

Congratulations once again and enjoy this one as it deserves, no doubt you will.

Best,

Laurent
