Exercising caution is very important these days

I have experienced this kind of scam offer in the past but from the terms expressed in Lanny's dialogue it would seem the scammers are upping the stakes in terms of their knowledge & understanding.

The very least a potential buyer should do is
- google any images received
- check the email address is letter perfect for the proposed known seller
- ask for a specific photo ( special time requested & some specific item in the background )
- ask the seller for sales references that can be contacted

After this logic should prevail, if you have any reservations then ask openly on this forum if anyone has had positive/negative dealings with this individual.
This should (hopefully) weed the scammers out from our midst.

Cheers - Darren
