I agree with you (as so often, btw...)
You're right about the men, but their tones aren't as high and painfully annoying.
About the style: I absolutely agree too, and usually don't even watch the men's overpowered battling anymore.
And as for women.... There are many to enjoy running around and swinging for their serve or forehand; and of course I can always switch off the speaker. ;-)
