So What's Wrong with the Calculator Offered by Antiquorum?

In response to the question, "So what's wrong with the Calculator being sold by Antiquorum?", I thought that it might be worthwhile to have a look at the Antiquorum Calculator (top photo) and compare it to a couple of genuine ones (shown below).

At a quick glance, we see the following errors with the Antiquorum sample:

  1. Hour, minute and chronograph second hands should be orange (not white and red)
  2. Markers should be applied steel markers, with luminous inserts (not merely lume paint)
  3. the blue paint on the AQ dial is too light; it should be "midnight" blue
  4. date window should have a "frame" around it
  5. the word "Calculator" is too small on the AQ sample
  6. "Swiss" is placed too high on the AQ sample, and is missing the hash marks, to the left and right
  7. chronograph needles should have squared ends, not pointed ends
That's the very quick summary . . . I suspect that there are more differences between the watch being offered by Antiquorum and the original ones, but this gives you the basic idea.
