I was kidding (and my joke could probably be offensive). One of the rare funny lines (to me) from Tropic Thunder was when Robert Downey Jr., who was playing an actor who was playing a black man, said, "What do you mean by, "you people"?" as he acted offended to "you people".
I was aiming for the same affect. That's why I added the smiley face.
