Definitely one of the great Autavias . . . yes, this is a tool watch, that has seen some action!!

: I have a special soft spot for these 11063 case style Autavia's
: So last year when this one came up for sale on the bay with a
: meager buy it now price - I jumped on it.
: When I got the watch it was badly banged up and not functioning.
: The crystal was gone- there were no sub register hands, the bezel
: was mangled and the caseback had a nasty dent in it that was
: severe enough to render the movement garbage.
: Over the course of the next 6-8 months I managed to get my hands on
: some new parts and off to Craig at chronodeco.
: He did a great job of putting everything back together and I am
: thrilled to see new life breathed back into this time piece.
: It's not the first we've seen of these great military pieces... But
: I think they are relatively rare nonetheless.
