Tachymeter and hour subdial damage
In Response To: Heuer Montreal check *PIC* ()

Look at the tachymeter along the perimeter of the dial and the hour subdial. There appears to be lots of damage with worn off numerals. Could moisture have caused that? I would steer clear of this one unless you have a source for a replacement, original dial. That damage will probably be a lot more apparent under natural light, I'm afraid.

: Greetings all, new to this wonderful forum. I am just starting to
: collect vintage Heuers and found this Montreal. Dial looks
: original, case looks highly polished. Thoughts?
