: This Chrono is sent to Switzerland to be
: restored.
: They’ve promised me information about the watch
: witch I’ll present here.
: Now for another question: The repairs cost
: aprox: 900€ !! Does this seem like a
: relevant price?
: The watch is sent by a store in Sweden to Tag
: Heuer in Switzerland.
If the watch was in not working condition the price of service you mention is ok.
Keep in mind that the cost of service is not directly related to the value of a watch.
For example, is it possible to spend $500 on the service of a watch which will sell for only $600 (after the service). My point is do not expect to always get your servicing money back when you sell a watch.
Anyway, 900 euros seem little money, if you compare them to the 1000 euros needed for a maintenance service of an Audemars Piquet chronograph.
