Hello Michael,
a very nice looking Monaco. I neither have seen such an engraving yet. But one thing is for sure. It has been engraved later. While the Heuer shield and the Tool. engraving is very faint, the Cal. 11 is very present. So my guess is, that it was engraved during serviced, after a polish of the caseback. But I think we will never be 100% sure...
